This case was originally made as a travel jewelry case, when I needed something to pack some chunky jewelry and wanted something that would fit in my carry on. I soon realized much of my knitting and crochet supplies would fit in the pockets nicely, and I use one hanging in a closet to keep circular and double point needles organized. Keep your jewelry and accessories organized and safe whether traveling or at home. This jewelry case is made large enough to accommodate those larger pieces that won’t fi
t in a more compact case, but, when folded, will still fit in a carry on bag. Statement necklaces, jewelry pieces with larger beads, hair accessories, brooches, and other larger pieces will be safely tucked away for travel. The case has four clear, zippered pockets. There are two small pockets for shorter necklaces and bracelets, and two large pockets for longer or chunkier necklaces. The case folds up and ties nicely with a pretty ribbon. For easy access to your items, the case can be hung by the ribbon (if the contents are lightweight), or hung using a clip hanger (if the contents are a little heavier). If you are a crafter, the pockets hold circular knitting needles, shorter straight knitting needles, double point needles, crochet hooks, small tools, scissors, and anything else you may need to keep with you in your knitting bag. When not traveling, the case can be hung up to store your items, clearing valuable drawer or dresser space, or saving your jewelry from stretching from hanging up long term. Unfolded, the case measures approximately 30 in long x 10 in wide. Folded, it measures approximately 8.5 in long x 10 in wide. The outside of the case is made from 100% cotton, using premium cotton quilting prints. The case is padded with a light batting to protect your items. The inside lining is also 100% cotton, in white so that your items are clearly visible. Sturdy nylon zippers are used, and the clear vinyl is 12 gauge. Surface wash only.
