Items needed: Two 4 oz skeins of sport weight yarn Hook size G Yarn used is Hobby Lobby Baby Bee Sweet Delight which is a super soft dreamy yarn but any sport weight will work. Three square motifs are joined then rows worked and wrapped around and joined. This is the pattern only not the actual item. You will need a basic understanding of crochet. Pattern works up really fast and is a great spring summer project. This PDF download includes color images, stitch guide and pattern instructions to crochet this project. Multi Color Crocheted Poncho. Ladies Crocheted Poncho. This very pretty, Crochet Poncho is made from a Premium Acrylic Yarn that is both soft and durable. The yarn has great texture and drape and is comfortable to wear. The soft shades of green, blue, yellow and pink are so cheerful and will compliment many things in your closet! I designed this piece by using rows of Open Double Crochet Stitches alternating with rows of Solid Double Crochet Stitches. I joined two Rectangles together to create the Poncho, so you can see a detailed seam on the front and back that adds to the beauty of the overall design. It often rains, sometimes snows, and the temperature usually hovers only a few degrees above freezing. This pattern was born out of necessity. I simply had to have a warm poncho. I wanted something made with a bulky yarn, something warm with no lacy parts to it, something with a large cowl neck that I could turn up when the temperature drops. There are quite a few poncho patterns out there, but none of them were just right for me. So I made my own! My perfect poncho. \u003c3 Finished Size: The sizing for this poncho is customizable. It would fit any teen/adult size. Materials: I used Loops \u0026 Threads Barcelona, which is 100% Acrylic, #5 Bulky weight yarn. Any yarn of similar weight would work.
